"My husband went into the hospital in January 2010 for a prostate operation and woke up blind. The doctors were not able to tell us what happened, although they ran multiple tests and checked his eyes, etc. His eyes were fine, but the vision was gone completely. After 6 days in intensive care in the hospital, they released him to come home. The operation was successful, for which we are very thankful, but no vision.
