NeuroAiD™ is used every year by 200,000 patients in Asia, with at least half a million accumulated patients, and there were no severe adverse reactions reported.
Moleac's pharmaco vigilance database records only rare and minor side effects:
- Very rare cases of mild headaches
- Very rare cases of nausea or vomiting
- Rare cases of dry throat/increased thirst after several months of NeuroAiD™ stroke treatment, and therefore a need to drink more water
The initial clinical trials on the NeuroAiD™ medicine reported only rare cases of nausea and vomiting for patients taking NeuroAiD™ (0.5% of patients).
Published clinical trials have since confirmed that NeuroAiD™ has no effect on thinning the blood, or on liver or renal functions.
NeuroAiD™ is meant to be taken on top of maintenance prevention drugs like antiplatelets, anti hypertensive, cholesterol lowering, etc, as prescribed by the doctor.
We recently started asking our customers to share with us the list of concomitant medications they have been taking concomitantly with NeuroAiD™. This list is constantly updated. Do not hesitate to inquire on specific medication by contacting our staff.
How about the NeuroAiD™ quality control?
NeuroAiD™ has been manufactured in the same facility for the past 8 years, under the recognized principles of current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The GMP standards are applied to procedures in the manufacturing of dietary supplements, including approval of raw materials, production and process controls, laboratory testing, and product packaging, labeling and distribution. These processes are regularly audited by independent health authorities. The ingredients are carefully selected in compliance with the Chinese Pharmacopoeia’s best practices. Every batch of NeuroAiD™ is analyzed thoroughly by third party laboratories (such as SETSCO laboratories) to confirm compliance with international standards, and utmost safety for patients.
Having said that, let us address some reticence you might have regarding herbal medications. The World Health Organization (WHO) has pointed out three types of issues that have occurred with herbal medicines manufactured in China:
- Wrong ingredients when copying a product: Not the case, since NeuroAiD™ is still being manufactured by the same team who discovered it and first engineered it, using the exact same formula as the historic one.
- Over dosage: Not the case, since NeuroAiD™ contains the same dose as used for many years by 100,000s of patients in Asia, without significant negative repercussions.
- Tampered products: Not the case, since NeuroAiD™ is being permanently audited by independent laboratories, whose reports are available for you upon request.

How about the Doctors and NeuroAiD™?
Another much asked question by patients mainly in the west is why a number of doctors do not know about NeuroAiD™ or are not willing to recommend it or prescribe it to them. This is a vital question and we encourage always talking to and asking your doctor about NeuroAiD™ and its treatment. Here are two reasons why your doctor might have not been in the loop with NeuroAiD™:
- First, mainly because NeuroAiD™ is produced by Moleac, a relatively small and new company. We believe that having the boldness to produce such breakthrough medication for stroke survivors, could only come from a company with our newness and size. Yet it does not make us as well known by doctors as we should. Only since a few months ago, we started attending international conferences like: APCAS - Asia Pacific Conference Against Stroke, ESC - European Stroke Conference, WSC - World Stroke Conference (September 2008), where we can conference with senior neurologists involved in clinical research, who mostly have heard of NeuroAiD™. So, there also we cannot reach as many doctors as needed, which would require a huge amount of resources, enough to promote NeuroAiD™ to all neurologists, rehabilitation centers and GP's in all geographies.
- Second, despite the fact that most doctors when presented with the clinical data from NeuroAiD™ are interested and would like to get involved in more clinical trials, when it comes to prescribing or recommending it, they usually prefer to rely on established medications, with large scale studies published in their own countries where they have direct access to the pharmaceutical company through the representative who regularly introduces and promotes products to them. This has to do with a conservative approach or protecting professional liability exposure on the side of the doctors, and means waiting at least two more years for clinical data to be released, so that stroke survivors can be able to use NeuroAiD™. Hence, doctors basically assume their patients won't have access to NeuroAiD™.
